Senior Manager - Private Equity Fund Accounting (Ref BM2130).
If you have dedicated private equity accounting experience within alternative investment funds and wish to lead a team, develop relationships with top tier Private Equity firms and manage change, then this job could be for you… You would need to have a strong accounting background, as technical accounting issues may be escalated up the chain, good tech experience (in terms of project managing change and client onboarding programmes), strong leadership skills and a proactive nature. Our client is a leading fund services company to the Alternative Investment market and seeks to maintain this position by hiring an experienced Senior Manager who will contribute to the business’ development. Your responsibilities will include: As part of a senior management team, you will seek to improve client relationships across the group, find innovative solutions and be a top-level escalation point for client delivery Liaise with clients on topics including onboarding, service level plans, client budgets and contractual agreements Lead the overall operational service delivery for some top tier private equity firms Keep an eye on efficiencies of the teams/department, taking overall project responsibility for change, its implementation, the impact of the department, plus reporting up and down Be a top level client ‘sponsor’ internally Manage the costs and budget for the department Review and oversee reporting requirements, whether financial or regulatory Provide risk assessment and operational control review for the department Strive to lead and develop managers and team leaders within your remit – set objectives, help them achieve goals, provide training options, maintain a positive and motivated team by encouraging suggestions Provide insight internally (and to clients) of market changes and regulatory updates that may impact the department and/or client base.
