Job Overview USAA International Services proudly serves USAA members and their families with competitive insurance products while they are stationed overseas. This is a contact centre insurance sales and service position supporting the needs of USAA members who are stationed or reside internationally. This role is essential in fulfilling USAA’s mission and achieving the standards and goals of the enterprise. Tasks & Responsibilities Respond to member requests, research and resolve general disputes and provide exceptional service. Build relationships with members; gather information to identify member life events, assess members’ needs, explain the benefit of USAA products/services and ask for the business. Follow procedures, guidelines and policies to ensure compliance with U.S. and International regulatory bodies. Meet sales and service level targets in support of USAA’s mission. Abilities and Skills Member Focus: Adaptable, identify member requirements and take ownership of handling various member service situations. Product Knowledge: Acquire and demonstrate knowledge of USAA’s insurance products, services and processes. Problem solving skills and critical thinking to help customers find solutions to their needs. Sales: Help members recognise the value of choosing USAA products. Acquiring and demonstrating proficiency in member sales and service best practice. Business acumen: Display working knowledge of the business area. Demonstrate understanding of how the role impacts the business. Communication: The ability to actively listen. Collaborate with peers by sharing your opinions/ideas and allow others to express themselves.
