Accountant - Confidential Organization Location: On-site, River North, Chicago, IL (public transit accessible, company paid parking provided) Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, plus annual discretionary bonus Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours (flexible start/end times available) About the Opportunity A well-established, rapidly growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join its finance team. This is a high-impact, on-site role with opportunities for professional growth and advancement. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, financial analysis, and reporting, and will play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and post journal entries; adjust account balances monthly, • Compile and analyze account information for reconciliations, • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, • Support operational budgeting and long-term financial projections, • Assist with month-end and year-end close, and tax preparation, • Provide financial reports for internal stakeholders, • Collaborate with the Controller and finance leadership on special projectsQualifications, • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, • 3+ years of accounting experience (healthcare or related industry preferred), • Quickbooks experience preferred, • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles, • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills, • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, • Strong communication and collaboration skillsCompensation & Benefits, • Annual base salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with experience), • Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • 24 PTO days, • Paid Sick Leave applicable by state law, • Commuter benefits and company paid parking provided, • Additional voluntary benefits may be availableWhy Join?
