EPA Section 608 Certification preferred or required, depending on local regulations. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions. Preferred Skills: Experience servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems. Familiarity with digital controls, thermostats, and building automation systems. Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigerant handling, and airflow balancing. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality workmanship. An HVAC Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing residential, commercial, or industrial HVAC installation and retrofit projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and manage HVAC projects from initiation through completion. Develop project schedules, budgets, and timelines while monitoring progress. Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance. Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and labor resources. Conduct site visits to monitor quality, safety, and project milestones. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Manage project documentation, including change orders, permits, reports, and invoices. Identify and resolve project issues, delays, and budget concerns proactively. Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and stakeholders. Support estimating, bidding, and project closeout activities as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 3+ years of experience managing HVAC construction or mechanical projects.
