Job Summary and Qualifications Nuclear Medical Technologist Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of colleagues. We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As our new Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals. You will perform these procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. Your tasks and responsibilities may include: • You will use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans., • You will prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders. You may administer and record dosages as well., • Performs diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film., • You will position patients and adjust immobilization devices., • You will compassionately explains procedures to patients and addresses concerns., • You will monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation., • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program, • AART (NM) and/or CNMT Certification, • Current American Heart Association Certification in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association, • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is a 100 bed acute care hospital.
