Job Description Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper in Westchester County, New York Private Family Residence Westchester County New York Full time live out Schedule M-F 8AM-5PM with flexibility with weekend rotational coverage Hourly 45 per hour with benefits & potential OT We are seeking an experienced, proactive, polished Housekeeper to join a close-knit team in the meticulous daily cleaning of a multi-building family residence in Westchester County, NY. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team environment, be extremely detail oriented, and have the ability to multi-task to keep the home in pristine order while creating a serene, organized environment for the family. This is a full-time, live-out position. The Housekeeper will join an existing housekeeping team and partner closely with the other household staff, including chef team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Meticulous daily cleaning including all aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and upkeep of the residence, • Perform museum-quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (piano finish, woods, glass, leather, upholstery, silver, etc), • Provide onsite laundry services including ironing sheets, table linens, and clothing, with proficiency in the care and stain treatment of a variety of fabrics (cottons/linens, silks, and synthetics), • Support the private chef team with kitchen clean up throughout the day as well as table setting, florals, and related design, • Manage and organize closets and storage areas, • Maintain the residence for guest readiness at all times, • Occasional housekeeping of out-of-state vacation home Qualifications: • 10 or more years of full-time housekeeping experience; experience working full-time as part of a team in a single household strongly preferred, • Ability to communicate effectively in English as needed for the role, • Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others, • Thorough knowledge of household cleaning tools and techniques, along with a careful, protective approach to the job, • Professional, energetic worker with a friendly, positive attitude, • Ability to multi-task effectively and work with supervisor to reprioritize initiatives throughout the day and week, • Impeccable attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities, • Polished and professional at all times, acting with the utmost discretion and protective of the family’s interests, • Excellent, verifiable references from current and past employers, • Must be authorized to work legally in the U.S., • Must have own transportation and be flexible to occasionally travel to out-of-state vacation home and to work evenings and weekends as needed
