Job DescriptionSalary: $65-$80K Annually We are a locally owned and growing company with two branches with over 50 employees seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper who is eager to take ownership of our financial operations today and grow into a Controller-level role tomorrow. Position Overview The Full Charge Bookkeeper will handle payroll, accounts payable, financial reporting and other bookkeeping duties with accuracy, integrity and reliability. Over time, the role will expand to include trend analysis, process improvements, budgeting, and more strategic financial support for ownership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys financial operations and may want to advance their career into anAccounting Manager / Controller role in a stable, growing company. Key Responsibilities (Immediate) • Process bi-weekly payroll for ~50 employees through BambooHR., • Manage Accounts Payable, vendor invoices, and payments., • Prepare accurate monthly financial reports in QuickBooks (P&L, balance sheet, reconciliations)., • Maintain clean and organized accounting records., • Support CPA with year-end financials and compliance., • Prepare and file tax documents and payments. Growth Opportunities (Future) • Analyze financial trends (labor costs, revenue patterns, vendor spend)., • Implement efficiency improvements in accounting processes and reporting., • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management., • Partner with ownership in evaluating strategic decisions., • Move into a Controller-level role as business needs evolve. Qualifications • 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience., • Proficiency with QuickBooks and payroll systems (BambooHR a plus)., • Strong understanding of payroll compliance, GAAP, and accounting best practices., • Comfortable with Excel and using technology to streamline accounting processes., • Self-starter with a detail-oriented mindset and the desire to grow professionally., • Analytical thinker who enjoys solving problems and improving efficiency.
