Job Description About Freedom Recovery Freedom Recovery is a leading provider of integrated behavioral health services, specializing in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment through Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs. The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join our clinical team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will work under the supervision of the Director of Medical Services, providing vital clinical and administrative support to our clients and care teams. What You’ll Do Clinical Support • Administer injectable medications and perform phlebotomy within New Jersey’s scope of practice., • Support onsite medical care for PHP and IOP clients., • Monitor and record vital signs with accuracy and attention to detail., • Schedule in-person and telehealth appointments for medical and clinical providers., • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records using the Kipu EMR system (training provided if needed)., • Assist with client intakes and coordinate group session setup., • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program., • Current CMA or RMA certification., • Proficiency in administering injections and performing phlebotomy., • Experience with EMR systems; Kipu experience a plus., • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills., • Be part of a mission-driven organization committed to changing lives., • Collaborate with a dedicated, supportive clinical team., • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program., • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)., • Proficiency in administering injections and performing phlebotomy within New Jersey's scope of practice., • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; Kipu experience is a plus but not required., • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills., • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team., • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision), • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays), • Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)
