Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description The Warehouse Associate is responsible for verifying and keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment. This is an approximate six-week project requiring attention to detail and organizational skills. Responsibilities • Coordinate dock activities, including loading and unloading trucks (semi, UPS, FedEx)., • Handle incoming and outgoing products, route materials, and prepare LTL shipments and documentation., • Support valve automation and assembly under supervision, utilizing mechanical skills., • Operate a sit-down forklift (certification preferred but not required)., • Use Microsoft Office and other software to track shipments and communicate with internal teams, customers, and carriers., • Adhere to and promote company safety policies and procedures., • Maintain organization and prioritize tasks effectively.Essential Skills, • Experience operating a sit-down forklift (certification not required, but beneficial)., • Mechanically inclined with the ability to support valve automation., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook., • Comfortable with material handling and warehouse inventory processes., • Experience using RF scanners.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Prior experience using inventory tracking software such as SAP, ERP, or WMS., • Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems., • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity., • Ability to lift, push, or carry items up to 25 pounds.Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is an indoor warehouse setting with occasional exposure to noise from equipment and moving machinery. Safety procedures are emphasized in this typical industrial distribution environment. The role involves standing and walking for most of the shift, as well as performing repetitive tasks such as shipping, picking, and counting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hillsboro, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
