Gauntlet Wearable Tech On-Site Project (NYC) [USA] Start date: Apr 26 Location: Midtown, NYC Description We are looking for individuals living in or near New York City, NY who would be interested in participating on-site in testing exciting new digital wearable technology. Project Details You will be wearing and using technology on your arms and hands that will control a device through movement and manual inputs Participants will be required to give feedback on their experience with the device through a survey The time commitment for testing is approximately 3 hours Payout for this project is $150 Tester Requirements Must be 18 years or older Must be willing to travel to designated data collection facility in New York, NY during normal business hours Must be proficient in spoken and written English Must have normal or close-to-normal hearing Must have normal vision OR able to wear vision-correcting glasses/contacts on the day(s) of the experiment Must have no history of epilepsy, seizures, or severe traumatic brain injury (i.e., concussion with nausea and/or memory loss) Must have no condition that impairs ability to grip or touch objects with hands and all 10 digits Must have no pre-existing conditions in the arms (which includes shoulder, arm, wrist, hand, fingers) such as tendinitis, existing or recurring pain, etc. Referral Bonus We are offering a $25 bonus payout if you refer a tester to participate who successfully completes the project! Housing Specialist University Consultation & Treatment Center (U.C.C.) Agency: University Consultation & Treatment Center for Mental Hygiene Inc. a non-profit behavioral mental health agency located in the South Bronx Position: Case Manager (Bilingual a plus) We are currently hiring: 4 case managers for our Ehrlich Residential Program. Job Description: U.C.C. provides housing & supportive case management services to individuals & families with medical, mental health, & substance use needs. Interviews residents to assess functional strengths & weaknesses & develops an individualized support service plan; Works with residents individually & in groups to mobilize inner capacities & resources to improve social functioning. Provides rehabilitative & restorative services to residents as identified in the individual service plan; Documents all interactions with residents and service providers in a timely manner; Maintains communication links with support service agencies who provide residents’ supports & treatments; Assures residents maintain proper activities of daily living & adhere to prescribed medications; Assures residents are in compliance with required rules & regulations. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's in related field. Experience working in an apartment treatment program preferred. Ability to write grammatically correct complete sentences and to follow written & oral directions. Salary and Hours: Salary is approx. $35,000-$38,000. Hours are daytime with some weekend work; 24/7 on-call availability required. Field work required. Two different shifts: Team A works Sunday - Thursday Team B works Tuesday - Saturday
Job Title: Intercept Study Gig Worker** Job Description: Conduct intercept surveys or interviews with target participants in designated locations (e.g., public places, events, etc.). Approach and engage individuals using established protocols to gather data. Surveys or questionnaires should be administered to collect specific information from participants. Ensure accurate and complete data collection according to study requirements. Record responses and other relevant information in a systematic and organized manner. Maintain confidentiality and data integrity throughout the data collection process. Communicate effectively with study coordinators and team members to provide updates and address any issues. Adhere to study protocols, guidelines, and ethical standards. Complete assigned tasks within specified timelines. Participate in training and debriefing sessions as required. Assist with data entry, cleaning, and preliminary analysis, if needed. Other duties as assigned related to the intercept study. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a higher level of education). Previous experience in survey administration, data collection, or similar fieldwork is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to approach and interact with diverse individuals in a friendly and professional manner. Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection. Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Knowledge of research methods and ethics is beneficial. Comfortable using technology for data collection and communication. Additional Requirements: Must reside in the 5 boroughs or upstate New York. Available to work part-time or temporarily as needed for the study.
