We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Paint Store Associate to join our team. This role involves assisting customers with paint selection, providing expert advice on colors and finishes, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. The ideal candidate has a passion for home improvement, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for color and design.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right paint products.
Provide expert advice on paint finishes, colors, and application techniques.
Mix paint colors to customer specifications using store equipment.
Process customer transactions at the cash register.
Maintain store cleanliness and organize shelves.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
Stay updated on new paint products, finishes, and industry trends.
Assist in stocking inventory and alert management about stock shortages.
Help with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Basic computer skills for processing transactions and mixing paint.
Passion for home improvement and color design.
