The Children's Crisis (CSU) Program Coordinator will work on site, three - 12 hour shifts per week and work in collaboration with the Manager of Crisis Stabilization Unit for the oversight and coordination of the Crisis Stabilization Unit program at Jefferson Center; to oversee day-to-day clinical operations including hiring, training, clinical and administrative supervision of Crisis Stabilization Unit clinical staff; to oversee clinical programming, documentation, etc. related to the Crisis Stabilization Unit program. The CSU’s mission is to use an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, residential counselors, medical staff and admissions staff to provide brief, 3-5 day, crisis stabilization treatment for children and youth with behavioral health issues, including depression, suicidal thoughts, other trauma reactions, and family issues. Our team coordinates treatment and provides tools and safety planning for children/youth and families so that they can safely return to their homes and the community. We are committed to serving Colorado’s children/youth while maintaining a non-judgmental and inclusive approach.
