The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines and related systems on our fleet of trucks and trailers to ensure safe and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel engines, trucks, and trailers., • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment., • Conduct engine overhauls, transmission repairs, brake jobs, and other major component replacements., • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed., • Ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards., • Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency roadside repairs when necessary., • Keep the shop and work area clean, organized, and safe at all times. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Technician (minimum 2 years preferred)., • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, truck systems, and diagnostic tools., • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work orders., • Familiar with DOT regulations and safety standards., • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus., • Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
