Pet Groomer in Totowa NJ (Pet Styles by Monika) I am looking for a qualified groomers to come on as a contractor or rent a table. You should not apply for this position if you do not have Professional experience. -Should be able to groom at least 3 dogs a day within the designated amount of time independently . -Should be able and willing to handle all types of dogs -Should have an interest and skill in perfecting the styling and enjoys working with animals -Must be able to maintain a positive attitude -Eager to work! Quality Groomers Commission: 50% Groomers with less quality experience Commission is negotiable. Responsibilities Provide high-quality grooming services for dogs, including bathing, brushing, and nail trimming. Handle and restrain animals safely during grooming procedures. Assess the condition of pets and provide appropriate care and treatment. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools are sanitized and salon maintained. Assist in training dogs as needed and provide excellent customer service. Summary As an Independent Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets while ensuring their comfort and safety. The position is for Tuesday-Saturdays 8:30am-4:00PM We are looking to start interviews and training as soon as possible. In this position you will be asked to: • answer phones, • set up appointments and rebookings, • make reminder calls, • daily computer work, • handling of dogs and cat/ assisting with grooming services, • finding out how the customer would like the pet groomed, • handling payments, • assist groomers when needed, • helping maintain cleanly appearance in store For this position you should be: • very personable and friendly, • have prior customer service experience, • able to multi-task, • organized, • an animal lover and not afraid of dogs (any breed or size), • (prior experience with animals other than own pets is a plus), • (speaking Spanish is a plus) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour
