My Therapy Clubhouse is an energetic and warm pediatric occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy team located in the heart of Passaic. We are currently seeking pediatric speech and occupational therapy assistants to join our team! Responsibilities: - Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric patients - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals - Provide speech therapy services to patients in a hospital or acute care setting - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure effective treatment outcomes - Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed - Document patient progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information in accordance with professional standards and facility guidelines - Provide patient and family education on communication strategies and techniques - Participate in case management activities to ensure continuity of care Requirements: - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program - Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language disorders - Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred - Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for speech and language disorders - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams - Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity - Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and scheduling Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Ø Responsible for completing a face-to-face initial/ongoing Comprehensive Assessment (CA) with consumers. Ø Interview consumers to obtain information concerning their medical history and other pertinent information. Ø Assess the counseling needs of the consumers. Ø Assess consumers using the ASI or other standardized clinical interview tool and diagnose consumers for substance use disorder using the DSM-5. Ø Determine the appropriate level of care according to ASAM Criteria Ø Obtain previous records that are relevant to the current treatment episode unless clinically contraindicated, and collaborate with the consumer to develop a written treatment plan that includes goals and measurable objectives, and is consumer-centered, and recovery-oriented. Ø Provide the substance abuse counseling services specified in the consumer treatment plan. Ø Review consumers throughout the treatment episode according to the ASAM Criteria, to determine the need for continued services, transfer, or discharge/transfer. Ø Review and, where necessary, revise the consumer’s treatment plan to address ongoing problems. Ø Develop a consumer discharge/transfer plan to ensure movement to the appropriate levels of care. Ø Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team for assigned consumers. Ø Provide active case consultation. Ø Document all counseling and education services, assessments, reassessments, referrals, and follow-ups in the consumer's clinical record, and provide appropriate signatures and dating of such entries, including those made in electronic records. Ø Retains the responsibility of meeting face-to-face with the Qualified Professional (QP) Care Managers Staff to review the CA and Treatment plan of the consumer for the development of an action plan to meet the consumer’s needs. Ø Progress notes due daily. Ø Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The Ninja Coach will play a vital role in fostering a fun positive environment that encourages personal growth, teamwork, and athletic development. Duties: Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of individual students or teams. Conduct regular practice sessions to enhance skills, techniques, and overall performance. Educate students on the rules of the sport and promote good sportsmanship. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Ensure the safety of all participants during practices and events, including lifeguarding duties if applicable. Organize and lead competitions or events to showcase student skills. Maintain a clean and organized gym or training area. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members regarding progress and any concerns. Skills: Strong background in sports coaching or physical education. Experience working with students of various ages in a coaching or educational capacity. Ability to climb and navigate different environments as needed for training activities. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate students.
