Assistant Teacher – Preschool (NYS OCFS Program) Schedule: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Pay: $17–$18/hr (DOE) Location: 3 North Village Green Levittown, Nassau County, NY We are seeking an energetic Assistant Teacher for our NYS OCFS-licensed preschool program, focused on thematic activities and purposeful play. This is a toddler position, so candidates must be physically able to lift children, move around the classroom, and play actively. Responsibilities: • Assist Lead Teacher with daily lesson plans and classroom activities, • Supervise and engage children in play that promotes learning and development, • Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment, • Experience in a preschool or toddler program preferred, • Physically fit and active, • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, • Paid time off during Levittown Public School breaks, • Low child/teacher ratio and supportive environment, • Summer camp opportunity
