As a supermarket cashier, your main responsibility is to ensure a smooth and friendly checkout experience for customers. This includes scanning and bagging items accurately, handling cash, card, and digital payments, and providing correct change. Cashiers also help keep the checkout area clean and organized, follow store procedures, and sometimes support other departments during slower periods.
