Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation & Cooking: Lead the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of menu items with consistent quality. Ensure all dishes meet high taste and presentation standards. Creativity & Innovation: Develop and propose new menu items or enhancements to existing recipes. Collaborate with management on seasonal specials and promotions. Leadership: Oversee kitchen to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Maintain standard for techniques, safety, and food quality standards. Quality & Inventory Control: Maintain inventory levels, manage orders, and minimize waste. Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all health regulations. Customer Focus: Uphold a commitment to delivering exceptional food and customer service - charisma and friendliness. Qualifications: Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment; leadership experience is a plus. Strong culinary skills with the ability to produce high-quality dishes consistently. Creativity and a knack for crafting flavorful, appealing dishes. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Excellent communication and organizational skills. ● Prepares and cooks to order foods requiring short preparation time. ● Reads food orders or receives verbal instructions on food required by guests, and prepares and cooks food according to instructions. ● Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times. ● Follows basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foodstuffs for consumption in eating establishments. ● Prepares foods by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting and shredding fruits and vegetables, and trimming and cutting meat, poultry or fish for culinary use. ● May clean and sanitize work stations and equipment and must follow all - company and regulatory rules and procedures.
