VIDA HAIR & SKIN Salon is located in the heart of West Orange NJ. We are looking for a Bilingual full-time receptionist to work at our salon. Must be upbeat, enthusiastic, must have a warm personality, reliable, detail-oriented, highly trainable, and superior customer service skills.
The front desk coordinator role is vital concerning client services, bookings, and retail sales.
Experience in the salon or spa industry is a plus, but not necessary. Full-Time hours available. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service and Communication:
Answer salon phone calls, return messages and handle booking inquiries
Greet and provide exceptional service to all guests
Assist clients with consultation intakes and form completion appointment and Record Management:
Coordinate daily appointments, guest records, sales, and salon traffic
Understand and utilize CLOVER salon software system (or open to learning)
Manage cash register and transactions accurately
Team Collaboration and Professionalism:
Attend and participate in general and team meetings
Maintain a professional image and adhere to dress code/grooming standards
Salon Operations and Support:
Prep all workstations for guests
Help stylists when assistance is required
Assist with salon upkeep as needed
Social Media posts and record videos of services
