Certified Medical Assistant - Day Shift, M-F (7:00 am - 4:00pm)
Job Qualifications: - Must have at least 1 yr experience in a medical environment. Local candidates only. Will accept candidates that can start w/in 2 weeks of confirmation. Job Description: As a Medical Assistant, you will continually learn and grow with your team members alongside the Operations Director, making a positive difference in the patient experience and quality of care. You will work one-on-one with patients as a health care provider, deliver routine medical care and monitor the flow of onboarding patients. Serve as a mentor and encourage the team to succeed.
Responsibilities: - Welcome patients and obtain medical histories from patients - Verify patient information Assist providers during examinations and treatment - Perform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Medical Director - Dispense medications within the scope of practice as ordered by the treating providers and in accordance with state regulations Assist the front office staff as needed
