My Place Hotel in Jamestown is seeking a reliable and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor / Room Inspector / Laundry Attendant to help ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. About the Role This hands-on position combines housekeeping supervision, room inspections, and laundry operations. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards while assisting with laundry duties and daily operational needs. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Key ResponsibilitiesHousekeeping Supervision & Room Inspection • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with hotel standards., • Provide guidance, training, and support to housekeeping staff., • Monitor room readiness and communicate room status updates to the front desk., • Follow up on guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns promptly and professionally., • Ensure cleaning procedures, safety standards, and hotel policies are consistently followed., • Assist with scheduling priorities and daily housekeeping assignments as directed.Housekeeping Support, • Clean guest rooms and public areas as needed during busy periods or staffing shortages., • Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest room amenities., • Inspect bedding, mattress pads, blankets, and other room furnishings for cleanliness and condition., • Report maintenance concerns, damages, or safety hazards immediately.Laundry Operations, • Wash, dry, fold, sort, and organize hotel linens, towels, and housekeeping items., • Maintain laundry equipment and report any operational issues., • Monitor linen inventory and assist with supply organization., • Ensure laundry areas remain clean, safe, and organized throughout the shift.Property Standards & Safety, • Conduct deep-cleaning projects as assigned., • Maintain housekeeping storage areas, carts, and supply rooms., • Handle master keys and hotel property according to security procedures., • Promote a safe work environment by identifying and reporting hazards., • Assist other departments when needed to support overall hotel operations.What We're Looking For, • Previous housekeeping, room inspection, hotel supervision, or laundry experience preferred., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality., • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support team members., • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities., • Dependable, professional, and guest-service focused., • Ability to lift, bend, stand, push, pull, and perform physical work throughout the shift., • Weekend and holiday availability required.Benefits, • Competitive Pay: $15.00–$16.50 per hour DOE, • Monthly Bonus Potential, • Flexible Scheduling, • Direct Deposit, • Cross-Training Opportunities, • Career Growth Potential, • Supportive Team EnvironmentWhy Join My Place Hotel?
