WORK SCHEDULES: 5:15 AM - 1:00 PM If you have experience as a professional driver and a clean driving record, we want to meet you! WHAT WE OFFER: • Weekly Pay, • Full Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • Vacation + Wellness Time, • Matched 401(k), • Commuter Benefits WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Minimum 1 year of recent experience professionally driving a commercial vehicle in NYC, • Excellent knowledge and experience of Manhattan streets, • Possess a clean and valid driver’s license (we will run a check); preferably a Professional Class., • Ability to communicate and understand English, • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner, • Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds, • Must be available to work full-time hours with weekend availability: We offer early morning shifts Key Responsibilities: • Load and unload the van, • Picks up and drops off deliveries between stores and the commissary, utilizing company sprinter vans, • Is responsible for learning delivery routes and must have knowledge of Manhattan traffic flows, • Logs all delivery times and ensures that deliveries are signed off on and approved, • Adjusts travel routes to avoid traffic congestion and road construction, • Abides by all New York City traffic and driving rules and regulations, • Promptly informs the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours, • Keeps the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning, and vehicle maintenance, • Provides accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and going, • Reports any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management immediately
