Job Description Fire Protection Designer – Special Hazard Systems (Junior/Senior Level) Location: Harrison, OH | Full-Time | On-Site We are hiring a Fire Protection Designer to design special hazard fire suppression and fire alarm systems. We are considering Junior or Senior-level candidates based on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers passionate about life safety, asset protection, and cutting-edge fire protection design. Key Responsibilities: • Design special hazard fire suppression and fire alarm systems using AutoCAD 2D/3D and proprietary software., • Ensure designs comply with local, national, and manufacturer standards., • Conduct site surveys and oversee proper system installation and operation., • Interpret and implement customer project specifications., • Create project-specific operation and maintenance manuals., • Update and maintain existing drawings and documentation., • Support system startups, commissioning, and inspections as needed., • Minimum 2 years of experience in the fire protection industry, specifically in special hazard fire suppression and fire alarm design., • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D., • Knowledge of fire protection codes and NFPA standards., • Strong technical communication and organizational skills., • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field., • Work on challenging projects in life safety and asset protection., • Opportunity for career growth from Junior to Senior-level roles., • Hands-on exposure to installation, commissioning, and client-facing responsibilities.
