Automotive Master Technician / A-Tech - Ray & Dana’s Inman Auto Care - Colonia

We are seeking an experienced automotive master technician to join our team. This is not an entry-level position; the ideal candidate can diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns, identify root causes, and take pride in completing repairs correctly.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling, starting, and charging systems.
• Use professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and safety evaluations.
• Follow manufacturer procedures and industry best practices.
• Communicate findings with the service team.
• Work independently while supporting and mentoring other technicians.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with modern vehicle systems.
• Proficiency with professional hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE Master certification preferred, but not required.
• Domestic, Asian, and European vehicle experience is a plus.
• New Jersey State Inspection experience is a plus.
