The opportunity Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time Catering Servers to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. As a Catering Server, you will provide outstanding guest service while serving food and beverages in a banquet setting. All team members receive benefits including: • Weekly pay, • Employee assistance program, • Training and development opportunities, • Employee discounts What will you do? • Set up tables for the function according to the banquet event order., • Transport food and beverages to guests promptly., • Perform necessary tasks to service guests, including taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing dirty dishes., • Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures., • Monitor guest needs continually, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaints., • Replenish food on buffet lines as needed., • Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and associates., • Break down the event according to company procedures. More about you • Must be 18 years of age., • Previous restaurant, catering, and/or banquet experience required., • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays., • Excellent guest service skills., • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment., • Strong communication skills, including listening skills, and the ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly. Physical requirements • Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for the entire length of the shift., • Ability to lift to 30 pounds., • Mobility to maneuver between tables. Ability to work in variable indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions.
