About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic, responsible, and customer-focused Server/Bartender to join our team at The Agave Cantina. You will be the face of our restaurant — delivering an outstanding dining and bar experience while keeping your station running smoothly at all times.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome every guest with a positive, warm, and professional attitude
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them in a timely manner
• Prepare and serve cocktails, margaritas, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Monitor bar and table inventory continuously — proactively communicate to the kitchen or manager when items are running low or about to run out
• Keep your station, bar area, and tables clean and organized at all times — before, during, and after your shift
• Wipe down the bar, restock supplies, and ensure the bar is fully operational throughout the shift
• Check and clean the customer restroom area regularly during service
• Handle cash, credit card, and POS transactions accurately
• Comply with NYS Liquor Authority regulations — never serve alcohol to minors or visibly intoxicated guests
• Complete all opening and closing duties as assigned
• Work as a team with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations
