We are seeking a future team member for the role of SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT to join our MODEL RISK MANAGEMENT team. This role is located in NEW YORK. In this role, you will be focusing on validation and risk management of algorithmic trading models also with exposures to Market Risk and Pricing Modeling. • Independently perform end to end validation of algorithmic trading models, including analysis of model performance, assumptions, and limitations, design and execution of independent testing, documentation of validation findings, and communicating results to stakeholders., • Supervise model validations, model risk management activities through model lifecycle, and manage regulatory engagements, • Ensure effective processes and controls for prompt risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and tracking of issues related to model risk., • Behave ethically and adhere to BNY’s standards, including the Code of Conduct and applicable policies., • Demonstrate ownership and accountability for managing model risk holistically, engaging proactively with control functions., • Serve as a role model in creating and sustaining a strong risk culture and support the development of team members., • Master's Degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline, including engineering, mathematics, physics, statistics, econometrics., • The candidate must have a superb quantitative and analytical background with a solid theoretical foundation coupled with strong programming, documentation, and communications skills., • Minimum 5 years (5 - 7 preferred) of modeling or validation experience in financial services., • Must have most recent experience with algorithmic trading modeling, including knowledge of market microstructure, limit order book dynamics, execution quality measurement, experience validating algorithmic trading strategies and strong understanding of risk controls for algorithmic trading. Experience with derivatives pricing modelling is a plus. In addition to the caf, a dedicated event venue will host frequent catered events, creating a dynamic and fast-paced hospitality environment. As part of an established hospitality group, youll collaborate closely with our sister location and benefit from the guidance and experience of a seasoned leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to help build and shape an exciting new concept from the ground up. The Opportunity Were offering a rare General Manager role that balances high-volume catering with a stable MondayFriday, 9 AM 5 PM caf schedule. Based in the vibrant DnD building, youll oversee our caf operations and a growing portfolio of internal and external events. As the General Manager of the new caf, you will help bring the concept to life, working closely with ownership and the management team during the opening phase to build strong systems and culture. Once the caf is established, you will take full ownership of day-to-day operations and lead the business independently, while staying aligned with the overall company vision and maintaining communication with leadership as needed. Key Responsibilities: Operational Excellence: Drive daily caf performance, ensuring premium service and product standards. Catering Leadership: Manage full-cycle catering for corporate meetings and special events within the building. Candidate Profile Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or senior leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment. An entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable with ambiguity and hands-on building. Strong financial acumen (P&L management, forecasting, inventory control). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative to drive results independently.
