Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Ductwork Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale commercial HVAC projects. This role is responsible for overseeing ductwork installation, managing crews, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of sheet metal systems, proven supervisory experience, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. Essential Functions • Supervise and manage field installation of commercial ductwork systems on large-scale projects (hospitals, high-rises, data centers, industrial facilities, etc.), • Coordinate daily activities of sheet metal crews, subcontractors, and vendors, • Review drawings, specifications, and project schedules to plan work activities, • Ensure installations meet code requirements, project specifications, and quality standards, • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Operational Staff to maintain project flow, • Monitor productivity and manpower requirements; adjust staffing as needed, • Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance on all job sites, • Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and design discrepancies, • Track progress and provide regular updates to project leadership, • Assist with material procurement and inventory coordination, • Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control standards Experience Required • 5–10+ years of experience in commercial HVAC ductwork installation, • 3+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role, • Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, installation methods, and airflow systems, • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications, • Proven experience managing large crews on multi-million-dollar projects, • Solid understanding of construction scheduling and sequencing, • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, • Familiarity with safety regulations and OSHA standards, • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) is a plus, • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening., • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Physical Requirements This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. Work with the Sales Rep and underwriting to obtain the rates for the proposal to finalize the proposal and prepare the response to the requestor., • Sold Cases and Enrollments: Upon notification of a sale, coordinate installation process by partnering with appropriate parties, using appropriate systems and ensure accuracy of returned paperwork. Assist the Implementation team with any additional information that is requested., • Maintenance: Work with brokers and any needed internal partners to complete any service requests and policy change requests., • Office Support : Will assist with all normal office functions including greeting visitors, answering telephone calls and directing to appropriate person, scheduling meetings and appointments, and maintaining office files, supplies and equipment. Required skills and abilities: • Effective communication and human relations skills., • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint., • Proficiency in math to include simple algebra skills for problem solving., • Ability to work as a cohesive member of a small team., • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines., • Experience with sales and account management a plus, • Proficient typing, at least 45 WPM Interested in joining a team with a great culture and a fun team environment?
