- Should enjoy working with children from grades 1-8
- Willingness to share their talents, be eager to add energy and enthusiasm to program
- Supervise children and ensure their safety, development, growth & well being
- Participate in mandatory trainings prior to program start
- Work co-operatively with other staff to ensure success of program
- Organize and lead small/large group activities
- Responsible for set up, clean up and preparation of activities/events
- Responsible for daily attendance, maintaining group schedules
- Plan and implement progams for campers
Counselor Skills:
- Alertness, Patience, Problem-Solver, Caring, Good Communicator
Education & Experience Requirement:
- 18+ with High School Diploma or college preferred
- Prior experience in a camp/youth recreational setting
- Must be available late June- August 7, 2026
- CPR/First Aid Certified is a PLUS
