We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Burger Haven, a new and vibrant restaurant dedicated to serving delicious burgers and providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring efficient and accurate transactions while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu inquiries and orders
• Operate cash registers, handle payments, and process transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station
• Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
• Uphold high standards of customer service, addressing any concerns or questions promptly and courteously
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer interactions
• Assist with other tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the restaurant
Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role
• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings
• High school diploma or equivalent
