Commercial Office Cleaner - Kinsmere Services - Kings Point

Location: Long Island, New York
Schedule: Weekday Evenings
Pay: $18–$23 per hour, depending on experience

Kinsmere Services is looking for dependable, hardworking commercial cleaners to join our growing Long Island cleaning team.
We provide professional cleaning services to offices, medical facilities, retail locations, apartment buildings, and other commercial properties throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties.
We are seeking individuals who take pride in their work, pay close attention to detail, and can be trusted to complete each cleaning assignment properly and on time. Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train reliable candidates with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities may vary depending on the property and may include:

• Vacuuming carpets and rugs
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Emptying garbage and recycling containers
• Replacing garbage liners
• Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms
• Cleaning sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures
• Restocking toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other supplies
• Cleaning breakrooms and kitchen areas
• Wiping desks, counters, tables, doors, and common surfaces
• Dusting furniture, ledges, windowsills, and office equipment
• Cleaning glass doors and interior windows
• Disinfecting high-touch areas such as handles, switches, and railings
• Maintaining clean entrances, hallways, and common areas
• Following building-specific cleaning checklists
• Properly using cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies
• Reporting damages, maintenance problems, or supply shortages
• Taking completion photos when required
• Securing and locking the property after completing the shift
• Communicating with supervisors regarding any issues at the location

Qualifications

Commercial cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, porter, hotel, restaurant, or building-maintenance experience is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements
Candidates should be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, kneel, reach, and lift
• Carry cleaning supplies and equipment
• Safely operate vacuums, mops, and other cleaning equipment
• Perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift

Transportation
Reliable transportation is strongly preferred because employees may be assigned to different properties throughout Long Island.
Applicants should clearly state whether they have access to a personal vehicle and which areas of Long Island they are able to work in.

Most available assignments are located in Nassau County and western Suffolk County, including areas such as:

• Roslyn
• Mineola

• Westbury
• Plainview
• Syosset
• Melville
• Huntington
• Farmingdale
• Other nearby Long Island communities

Schedule
Most commercial cleaning shifts take place after businesses close.
Available schedules may include:

• Monday through Friday evening shifts
• Weekend shifts
• Two to five shifts per week
• Approximately 10–30 hours per week
• Additional hours as new accounts are added

Specific hours will depend on the assigned property.
