



The Pizzeria Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking pizza and related menu items while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety. The cook works closely with the kitchen team to ensure fast, consistent, and delicious food service.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes
Cook pizzas using stone, gas, electric, or wood-fired ovens
Prepare additional menu items such as pasta, appetizers, and salads (if required)
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards are met
Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and workstations
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Manage food prep and minimize waste
Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience as a cook in a pizzeria or similar kitchen preferred
Knowledge of pizza preparation and basic Italian cuisine
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Good teamwork and communication skills
Physical stamina for standing long hours
