New York City Law Firm seeking a Coordinator, Talent Acquisition & Development to support all aspects of attorney recruiting and professional development. This role plays an integral part in executing both local and firmwide talent initiatives, with a particular focus on campus recruiting, summer associate programs, and attorney development programming.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition

  • Coordinate campus recruiting and summer associate programs, including interview scheduling, candidate follow-up, hiring committee preparation, and prospect outreach
  • Support summer associate programming, including work assignment coordination, training sessions, and social events
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation schedules
  • Monitor and track the local recruiting budget
  • Partner closely with Global Talent Acquisition team members on firmwide initiatives and programs
    Talent Development
  • Coordinate local associate relations events and in-house attorney training programs
  • Support implementation of firmwide talent development initiatives, including coaching programs and training academies
  • Monitor associate relations and professional development budgets
  • Collaborate with Global Talent Development team members to ensure alignment with firmwide directives
    Additional Responsibilities
  • Work flexible hours as needed, including evenings and weekends for recruiting and firm events
  • Travel as required for recruiting programs and initiatives
  • Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned
    Proficiencies
  • Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience coordinating training programs, events, and large-scale initiatives
  • Working knowledge of legal recruiting and attorney development practices
  • Foundational understanding of communication principles and professional correspondence
    Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in a professional, financial services or legal environment (required)
  • Experience in human resources, attorney recruiting, talent development, or law school career services preferred
  • Campus recruiting experience required
