Position Overview:
We are seeking licensed therapists to deliver Intensive In-Community Service (IIC) to youth and families. IIC is a short-term, solution-focused intervention designed to address moderate to high emotional and behavioral challenges, delivered in the youth’s home or community. The goal is to support and stabilize youth and families, preventing the need for higher-intensity care and promoting skill-building, symptom management, and improved family dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical, goal-oriented, and needs-based clinical interventions to youth and families.
- Deliver services primarily in the client’s home; telehealth may be used if the parent agrees.
- Collaborate with the Child Family Team (CFT) or identified support system to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Use evidence-based approaches, including the Nurtured Heart Approach, to address specific treatment needs.
- Document treatment objectives and progress clearly in accordance with CFT ISP/ICP/treatment plan requirements.
- Support youth and families in areas such as conflict resolution, coping skills, emotional regulation, stress management, and problem-solving.
- Participate in short-term interventions (typically 1–2 hours per week, for up to 3 months).
- Facilitate a smooth transition to community-based supports as needed.
- Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in a behavioral health discipline.
- Active New Jersey license as one of the following:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC)
- Licensed Psychologist
- English and Spanish speaker
- Experience working with children, youth, and families in a behavioral health setting preferred.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
- Willing to complete certification course if not already certified.
- Must be able and willing to provide in-home services.
