In this remote work opportunity, you will work with some of the best in our business to manage and maintain our SQL databases, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
You will work closely with our development and infrastructure teams to integrate, support, and enhance our database systems. If you can handle this, this might be your opportunity 


Job Responsibilities:
  1. Perform database installations, configurations, and upgrades for SQL Server environments.
  2. Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization.
  3. Assist with Database integration and consolidation of ERP SQL Databases of existing and newly acquired organizations.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, data integrity problems, and security vulnerabilities.
  5. Implement and maintain database security measures, including user access controls, data encryption, and backups.
  6. Design and implement database maintenance plans, including regular backups, index rebuilding, and database consistency checks.
  7. Collaborate with application developers to optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schema design for performance and scalability.
  8. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to SQL databases.



Job Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. 2 + years of professional experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
  3. Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and its various components.
  4. Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  5. Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and index management.
  6. Familiarity with database security concepts and best practices.
  7. Understanding of backup and recovery strategies for SQL databases.
  8. Knowledge of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, such as clustering, mirroring, and log shipping.
  9. Experience with database monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
