Responsibilities:
Classroom Management: Organize and maintain a well-structured classroom environment conducive to learning and development.
Early Childhood Education: Implement age-appropriate curriculum and educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Patient with Kids: Demonstrate patience and understanding while managing classroom behavior and addressing the needs of individual students.
Staff Training: Assist in training and mentoring new staff members to ensure consistency in teaching methods and classroom management.
Marketing Skills: Support marketing efforts for open house events to attract prospective students and their families.
Qualifications: NYS teacher certificate for the Early Childhood
Education (B-2), to be qualified as Director per DOH code.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education.
Education: Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Skills:
Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good marketing skills to help promote open house events.
Patience and compassion for working with young children.
