Quality Control Inspector Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required • Perform in-progress inspection for all machined components., • Review operator inspection reports and traveler information., • Submit reports to shift supervisor and communicate the results to machine operators., • Perform First Article Inspection for new parts (set ups), • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, control standards., • Detail knowledge of inspection techniques, tools and methodology, • Experience using measuring tools, • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, • Must possess the ability to use a wide variety of measuring devices to perform dimensional inspection of components produced., • Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques., • Knowledge of GD& T, • Medical and Aerospace manufacturing experience with emphasis on FAIR, • Follow the quality standards of ISO-13485, • Operate CMM machine Minimum Job Requirements & Education* Completed AAS degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
