Job Description Job Title: Medical Office Assistant Job Description Join our team as a Medical Office Assistant in a dynamic family medicine office, providing essential support to our healthcare providers and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities • Schedule patients efficiently to maximize provider availability., • Answer phones and address patient inquiries professionally., • Assist with insurance verifications to ensure patient coverage., • Utilize electronic health records, specifically Epic, for patient management., • Experience with electronic health records, particularly Epic., • Strong organizational skills for patient scheduling., • Effective communication skills for phone interactions., • No specific license required. This position operates within a moderately busy family medicine office. The team consists of three full-time providers and two part-time providers, with patient visits scheduled every 15 to 30 minutes. The office fosters a friendly and team-oriented atmosphere. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7am to 5pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rye Brook, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
