Stronghold Systems, LLC is seeking diesel technicians to join our fast-growing company. Stronghold is a metal fabrication and equipment repair facility serving the Tristate Area and Long Island. Our Carmel facility, conveniently located in the 84 corridor, is dedicated to diesel automotive maintenance and repairs. Working alongside our other teammates, technicians perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance work on diesel trucks. Including, but not limited to chassis components, electrical, general engine work, HVAC components, suspension, drive train, and steering systems. Required Skills & Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operation mechanisms
Superior diagnostic abilities to identify worn and damaged components
Understanding of what preventative maintenance is required
Extensive knowledge of hydraulics, emissions, electrical, power drive train, etc.
Understanding of testing vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems
Compliance with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety and emissions control standards.
Possession of tools and equipment needed to make the proper adjustment or replacement
Diesel Engine Repair: 3 years (Required)
Diesel engines
CDL Driver’s License Class B preferred
CDL Driver’s License Class A preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
