Responsibilities
Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by bussing tables and clearing dishes in dining areas
Maintain cleanliness of food prep stations, dining spaces, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines
Help with catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely food presentation
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during meal service and special events

Qualifications
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of basic food handling, cleaning protocols, and kitchen safety practices
Experience with catering or banquet settings is a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending comfortably
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Familiarity with culinary terminology, bussing, food preparation, and serving practices is advantageous
Previous hotel or restaurant experience can enhance your ability to thrive in this role
