Kings County Distillery is hiring a part-time Driver with the possibility to turn into a full-time position based out of Brooklyn, NY.
This will be a temporary role for the next 2-3 months, with continued employment after that period possible for the right candidate. This role entails both driving a sprinter van for local deliveries and driving a 16-20ft box truck for transfers of inventory between Brooklyn and Long Island.
The ideal candidate is someone who is punctual, professional, detail-oriented, and works well in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility
- Organize the delivery route taking into account neighborhoods & open/close times
- Properly pack product & double-check the order is correct
- Drop off the product at stores/restaurants
- Moving large 500lbs+ barrels and coordinate with warehouse team for deliveries
- Ability to professionally coordinate and work with our team. Must have the ability to communicate throughout the day with updates or to report any delays
- Drive safely while following all local motor-vehicle laws. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required for insurance purposes.
Job Requirements
- Have excellent driving skills and experience driving sprinter vans & box trucks (CDL a plus!)
- Be detail-oriented, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Have a great attitude and help maintain positive relationships with our vendors
- Be able to lift and carry 50+ pounds
