As a driver, you are an essential part of our students' daily routine, ensuring they travel to and from our New Rochelle campus in a safe, timely, and positive environment. Schedule & Hours: This role follows a split-shift schedule designed around our school day. Consistency and punctuality are key for the following shifts: • Morning Route: Departure from the school at 6:30 AM., • Afternoon Routes: Two separate runs starting at 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM., • End of Day: The typical workday concludes at 6:30 PM. Extra Income Opportunities: We frequently schedule field trips and special events throughout Westchester and the surrounding areas. Drivers will have the opportunity to pick up these additional hours to increase their earnings. Key Responsibilities: • Safely transport students to and from Westchester Torah Academy following designated routes., • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met., • Maintain a calm and respectful atmosphere on the bus, managing student behavior firmly but kindly., • Ensure the bus remains clean and fueled for daily operations., • Comply with all New York State DOT and school-specific safety regulations. Requirements & Qualifications: • CDL License: Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B or C) with S (School Bus) and P (Passenger) endorsements., • Clean Record: An impeccable driving record (no recent major violations)., • Certifications: Must be able to pass an Article 19-A physical and background check as required by NY State law., • Reliability: Since our families count on you, we need someone with excellent attendance and a high degree of punctuality.

What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition., • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery., • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises., • Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions., • Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises., • Other duties as assigned.
