If you have grit, adaptability, and a passion for small engine repair, we want to hear from you! Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Small Engine Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of small engines and outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers, tillers, trimmers, chainsaws, and related machinery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair small engines and outdoor power equipment (mowers, tillers, trimmers, chainsaws, etc.), • Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on customer equipment, • Complete repairs within established flat rate time parameters, • Accurately document all work performed on work orders, • Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors and customers when needed, • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, • Stay current with technical training, product updates, and OEM recommendations, • Work collaboratively with service, parts, and sales teams to ensure excellent customer service Requirements • Experience in small engine repair and diagnostics (outdoor power equipment, agricultural equipment, or similar industry preferred), • Knowledge of 2-cycle and 4-cycle engine operation, fuel systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components, • Ability to lift and handle loads up to 70 lbs., • Good eyesight (correctable to 20/20) and normal hearing for diagnostics, • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship, • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment, • Valid driver's license preferred What We Offer • Competitive compensation based on experience, • Ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities, • Supportive team environment that values integrity, grit, and continuous improvement Our team is built on a foundation of integrity, grit, and continuous improvement.
