Asset and Forklift Administrator.
OverviewSupervision of the Forklift Program Company-wide; manages Forklift allocation, maintenance programs, repair approval & tracking, vendor relations, and purchase planning. Also lends direct support to the Plant Services Engineering and supports a variety of manufacturing CMMS & Maintenance functions, Preventative & Corrective Maintenance aspects, auditing and training.Primary Job Responsibilities:The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:* Lead and provide hands-on support the Company's Forklift program.* Serves as a Co-administrator of the Company's CMMS program.* Routinely provides hands-on direction of repair approvals, parts sourcing, and research.* Builds and maintains PM procedures while supporting various Work Order functions.* Builds FY Purchase plans and directs the purchase & allocation of assets.* Supports the Company's Maintenance Program through auditing, training, and direction.* Directly support Managed Maintenance programs.* Supports ADS' Safety program by partnering with locations to identify and select appropriate forklifts for work being performed* Consistently reviews and identifies ways to improve our forklift program to make it more efficient and drafts business cases for capital investments as needed.* Implement PM Programs & initiative relative to maintenance through CI* Continually identifies and sustains beneficial partnerships with forklift vendors to ensure ADS has the most effective forklift programs.* Effectively negotiates Forklift contracts to ADS' financial benefit* Routinely reviews forklift repair costs to troubleshoot consistent issues and identify solutions.Job Skills:This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:* Experience in Manufacturing Maintenance* Operation knowledge of Forklift & Material Handling equipment.* Strong project management skills* Strong verbal and written communications* CMMS / maintenance software fluency* MS Office, Excel...
