Duties: Develop application features for financial payment systems. Participate in the entire Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC), including: gathering and analyzing business requirements, writing user stories, designing and implementing applications, performing unit testing and user acceptance testing, and providing quality assurance (QA) support. Implement applications leveraging micro services, user interface frameworks, automation frameworks, and high performance computing. Participate in backlog reviews, sprint planning, sprint demonstrations, and peer code reviews. Liaise with other technology teams and product owners throughout the SDLC.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as Software/Application Developer or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree plus three (3) years of experience.Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: application development; application programming interface (API) development; Agile development methodology; business analysis; design documentation; databases including SQL Server and Oracle; data structures including arrays, lists, linked lists, ArrayList, and HashMap; application testing; application quality assurance (QA); Core Java; J2EE; Spring Framework; JavaScript; HTML; JSP; CSS3; JQuery; AJAX; Velocity Templates; Unix Scripting; Web Services including SOAP and REST; Jira; Git; and SQL programming language.
