We are hiring a Field Service Technician to work in our Hillsboro, OR territory and support our local customer base; some national travel may be required. Working closely with our Service, Parts/Install and Customer Service departments, this individual will install and maintain equipment, complete repairs, and train operators and staff as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring customer satisfaction (our #1 priority)
Utilizing basic electrical and mechanical diagrams to evaluate the integrity of the equipment - may entail disassembly, inspection of electrical and mechanical components and checking safety devices for proper function
Conduct full function testing as a means of quality control
Install and maintain equipment including regularly scheduled service and replacement parts
Maintain an installation and repair schedule for maximum efficiency
Qualifications:
Excellent mechanical and electrical skills
2+ years of experience with field and bench work
Proven follow-through on projects and procedures with an emphasis on seeing jobs through until completion
Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
A valid drivers’ license and a clean driving record are required
