As we rapidly grow our national footprint, we are building a world-class sales team focused on supporting the trucking industry with best-in-class insurance solutions. What’s the job? Our agency has an established (and growing!) sales office in Charleston, South Carolina which anchors our East coast presence. We are now seeking an experienced trucking insurance leader to establish, grow, and oversee our Phoenix sales team, anchoring our West coast presence. This is a leadership-focused role centered on building out the local sales organization: from hiring and training new producers to developing sales managers and leads as the team expands. While the role offers the flexibility to produce business personally, the primary emphasis is on team leadership, organizational growth, and performance management. Deep expertise in the trucking insurance space is required. Experience guiding sales teams and a track record of optimizing sales performance through pipeline discipline and data-driven coaching. • Team Leadership & Organization Building: Establish, grow, and manage the Phoenix sales team, including hiring producers, sales leads, and sales managers to support growth., • Pipeline & Funnel Performance: Oversee and improve key funnel metrics such as lead flow, quote rate, and bind rate. Ensure sales processes are followed, pipelines are managed effectively, and conversion goals are met., • Sales Strategy & Motion Oversight: Design and drive both inbound and outbound sales motions, balancing lead intake with proactive prospecting to expand the agency’s reach., • Technology & Tools: Leverage CRM systems, pipeline management platforms, and sales enablement tools to monitor performance, track KPIs, and optimize productivity., • Coaching & Mentorship: Provide structured coaching to producers, developing skills in prospecting, quoting, closing, and relationship-building., • Collaboration: Work closely with agency leadership and the existing service, operations, and technology teams to align the Phoenix office with overall agency growth goals. You’ll be based out of our stunning, light-filled headquarters in the Warehouse District of Downtown Phoenix—a 17,000-square-foot space designed for collaboration, creativity, and connection. During onboarding and training, you’ll work in-office five days a week to ramp up quickly and connect with your team. Once performance metrics are met, you’ll transition to a hybrid schedule of three in-office days per week. Requirements: What are we looking for? • Minimum of 5 years experience in trucking insurance is required., • Minimum of 3 years experience managing, coaching, or leading junior sales producers., • Demonstrated ability to build or scale sales organizations, including hiring at multiple levels., • Proven track record in pipeline and funnel management, including quote and bind rate optimization., • Familiarity with CRM platforms, pipeline management tools, and sales enablement technologies., • Experience with both inbound and outbound sales strategies., • A sales manager or team lead with trucking insurance expertise who has overseen producers, driven pipeline performance, and is ready to build out a new market presence, or This is a place where every day we are inspired by our teammates, encouraging each other to be our best.
