The opportunity: • This position performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities depending upon area of assignment., • Performs preventive maintenance procedures on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment on a scheduled basis; Inspects belts, gearboxes, chains, bearings, etc., • Performs repairs on all related equipment with minimal supervision., • Testing of analog devices, scaling and calibrations required regularly., • Troubleshooting of low voltage circuits, analog devices, VFD's, and motor control circuitry to obtain a root cause of failures., • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, and devices to determine faults, and failures., • Regular repair and maintenance required in non-production areas including the warehouse, design lab, building, and grounds., • Uses CMMS system for work order implementation, recordkeeping of daily activities, and planned projects. What you need to succeed: • Must be able to work a 2nd or 3rd shift, overtime and weekends as needed, • Ability to work safely, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all safety regulations, • Experience with PLC's processors, and ladder logic - primarily Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Omron., • Familiar with NFPA 70E standards and be capable of applying these standards in the work situation., • Boiler/Steam knowledge, and/or certification is a plus., • Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shifts; required to work daily overtime and weekends, as needed., • Consistent and regular attendance is required., • High school diploma or equivalent.
