As a Laborer, you will be responsible for doing asphalt and pavement laying This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to operate heavy equipment and perform manual labor. Duties: - Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, Caterpillars, dump trucks, front loader trucks, graders, etc. - Perform general construction tasks including building, paving, bulldozing, and grading - Assist with utility locating and excavation - Load and unload materials and equipment - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area - Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: - Previous experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred - Ability to operate backhoes, Caterpillars, dump trucks, front loader trucks, graders, etc. - Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time - Knowledge of construction techniques and safety procedures - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Ability to work well in a team environment - Excellent communication skills Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions. Full job description We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Mechanic. This is a great opportunity for a Plumbing Mechanic to find a long-term home with a contractor that knows how to treat and compensate our employees. Must have at least 2+ years experience with jobbing and alteration with firm knowledge of NYC building code. Valid and clean NYS Diver's License. Thorough knowledge of N.Y.C. Knowledge of boilers, water heaters, and heating systems is a major plus. Duties and Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings and drainage systems Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals. Follow building plans and blueprints from beginning to end Respond to requests, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies. Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems. Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used.
