Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, specifically in refrigeration systems for supermarkets. The ideal candidate will be based near the Bronx, ready to respond to service calls in the area, and capable of handling a variety of refrigeration maintenance and repair tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Perform installation, maintenance, and repair on supermarket refrigeration and HVAC systems. - Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in refrigeration systems, including compressors, motors, and control systems. - Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. - Respond promptly to service calls, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. - Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used. Qualifications: - Experience : 5+ years in HVAC and refrigeration services, with specific experience in supermarket or commercial refrigeration. - Location : Resides in or near the Bronx for prompt response times. - Skills : Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and repair skills in commercial refrigeration systems. - Certifications : EPA Certification required; additional HVAC or refrigeration certifications are a plus. - Driver’s License: Valid and clean driver’s license required for fieldwork.
